How do the Control & Chaos decks differ from the original Unstable Unicorns game?
Besides including 158 cards containing a variety of new characters, effects, and artwork, Unstable Unicorns: Control & Chaos also have new Instant mechanics that vastly impact the gameplay in fun and exciting ways. The ruleset and card verbiage have also been updated to help clarify nuances of gameplay that the original Unstable Unicorns may not have explained as clearly.

Do the Control & Chaos decks include any cards that were part of the original Unstable Unicorns game?
The Control & Chaos decks both contain about 95% brand new cards. That other 5% are a handful of Neigh cards, which you may be familiar with if you’ve played the original game. They won’t be exactly the same, however; we’ll be creating brand new art for those cards during this campaign based on your suggestions!

Is there room in the Control & Chaos boxes for all of the cards to fit sleeved?
Yes, both the Control and Chaos boxes will fit their entire decks, fully sleeved. If you want to transport even more cards in a singular box, be sure to check out our special Collector’s Box! It fits up to 1,900 cards sleeved, as well as 16 play mats!

If I buy both a Chaos deck and a Control deck, can I shuffle them together to play one big game?
Yes, you can! Each card in the Control deck will have a teal diamond in the bottom right hand corner and each card in the Chaos deck will have a purple diamond in the bottom right hand corner. That way, you can separate them easily into their individual boxes after your game is over.

After you choose a tier that suits you, you will have the option to include one or more add-on items to your order through the Backerkit survey after the project ends.

How do add-ons work? Where do I go to order them?
We’re using BackerKit again this time for handling add-ons. Two weeks after the campaign ends, we will send out a BackerKit survey, and you’ll be able to tell us which add-ons you want (along with your shipping info). You can either purchase add-ons separately in BackerKit after the Kickstarter has ended, or add up all of the add-ons you’ll want and increase your pledge now. The choice is yours! Just like last time, US backers can purchase add-ons with no additional shipping charges, and backers anywhere else in the world will be charged just a flat $5 (for any number of items you want!).
NOTE: Due to the size and weight of the Collector’s Box, extra shipping will be charged in BackerKit for backers outside of the US purchasing this item as an add-on.

The Unicorns of Legend expansion was created exclusively for GameStop and will be released online and in their stores in October of 2018. It will also be available through TeeTurtle’s website at the same time.

How can I get the Proudest Unicorn charm pin?
If you were a backer of the previous Unstable Unicorns campaign and your Kickstarter email address has not changed since the last campaign,the charm pin will automatically be added to your order. No need for you to do anything! If your email address has changed, we might have a hard time finding you, so be sure to send us a message to let us know what your previous email was. We’ll use that to verify your previous backer status and make sure you get your pin!

Why are there no stretch goals in this campaign?
We considered having stretch goals, but we decided to unlock any content that would have been stretch goal material from the start. This is so we can focus more human resources on Backer interaction, as well as the live art/card development process.

How do I submit my suggestions?
You can submit your suggestions for the card artwork, names, and effects simply by leaving a comment either in the main comments section of the campaign or in the comments section of an update. Just be sure that your suggestion follows the rules! We can’t accept any suggestions that incorporate intellectual property that doesn’t belong to us, NSFW content, or hate speech.

How do you choose backers to be drawn as unicorns?
We’ll be choosing backers to draw based on a complex algorithm that accounts for how active you are in the comments as well as current planetary alignment. But mostly how active you are. So come hang out with us, chat us up, and post lots and lots of your creative ideas! You could just be the next one to be drawn, and in the meantime you’ll be helping us make this game as awesome as possible!

How can I find the time of the next live art stream?
Just check the bottom of the campaign description for a section called the Campaign Schedule. There you’ll find the dates and times for the next three live streams. If you can’t make it to any of those, stay tuned! We’ll try and mix up the times as much as possible throughout the campaign so that as many backers as possible have an opportunity to tune in to at least one!

Are Control and Chaos cross compatible with the Unstable Unicorns base game?
Yes, but with a slight caveat- While these games are technically cross-compatible, the terminology in the new cards has been updated for clarity. Because older editions may not share the same verbiage, it may cause a bit of confusion at times, but we’re confident it can be done. ;)

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
