Hello everyone!

With the mind-blowing engagement we've gotten on this campaign so far, I wanted to put together some social stretch goals! By taking part in helping us achieve these goals, you will not only be helping the Unstable Unicorns brand, but you will also be personally bringing me (and your fellow backers) great entertainment and joy.

Some notes:

Facebook Likes are for our Unstable Unicorns page. You can follow it here
Campaign shares are tracked by muckrack.com. I was too slow getting these up, so we already hit the first goal of 10,000 shares :D :D :D You can share the campaign using the share links at the top of the campaign (right under the current number of backers and time tracker).
Selfiecorn photos should be posted to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with #UnstableUnicorns
Karaokecorn Goals can be posted wherever you want, but I want links to someone actually singing the song (not just the words written out) please. Feel free to collaborate with another backer if you are a songwriter or a singer but not both :D
Craftycorn, Miscellaneouscorn, and UU Classic Goals can be posted wherever you want, as long as we can see them (so make sure you post about it in the campaign comments!)

I wanted to reassure everyone that I have heard your concerns regarding the Dragons Expansion as well as mixing and matching play mats. I am working on a solution to the former that will be as fair as possible to everyone, and I'll have an update on the second next week :)

Just how many cards does a Collector’s Box hold?

This is not the start of a bad joke. This is a very real question, and the answer is that we don’t know.

This thing is f***ing glorious. We only had 2000 sleeves in the office, and we ran out before filling up the box. So, the answer is “more than 2000 sleeved cards.” My best guess is around 2150. The slots are wide enough to fit any of the tuck boxes for expansion packs as well if you’d like to put them in the Collector’s Box. And that doesn’t include the space for up to 16 play mats underneath the card tray.

Speaking of play mats, we’ve been getting a lot of requests from backers of the original campaign to purchase the original play mats because we ran out so quickly in BackerKit last time and most people weren’t able to include them as add-ons. So I’ve decided to bring them back for a limited run! You’ll be able to purchase the original play mats in addition to the brand new ones that are exclusive for this project.

Below, you can find an updated list of add-ons (which now includes all the play mats, the original base game, and Daring Contest+expansions). A lot of the add-ons will get further clarification later in the campaign as we get more samples, but I figured this would be a good starting point so that you can plan your pledge accordingly.

With the exception of the collector’s box (which will require an additional shipping fee due to its massive size), US backers can add any number of add-ons without additional shipping, and international backers can add any number of add-ons for a flat $5.

If you are planning to get the collector’s box, I HIGHLY recommend selecting a tier that includes it already with the shipping factored in (and you’ll get the pledge level at an overall discount that way). With space for over 2000 sleeved cards, you’ll have space for all your Unstable Unicorns stuff as well as multiple additional card games if you’d like to keep them all in one place. There will also be neat little dividers that you can use to keep everything organized and separated appropriately.

Much card tracker update!

I must say that I am so delighted by how this project is progressing thus far. The engagement has been absolutely insane (almost 6,000 comments already???) and the suggestions have been incredible.

At long last, we have a pretty massive update to the card tracker! In addition to adding a few more sketches (that you may have seen today during our second live drawing event!), we added names to a bunch of cards to give you a preview of what's to come.

As the project continues, we will keep filling in names faster than we can fill in artwork, but the artwork will be catching up as we go :D All of the open slots are still open for suggestion, but that doesn't mean that if you've already submitted one that it hasn't been selected. We are doing our best to make our way through thousands of suggestions as quickly as we can so we can keep you updated with all of our progress!

YAY so many card ideas!!!!

You may have noticed that Ultimate Unicorns were left out of this update. The reason for this is that I would like to create a poll for each of the Ultimates where we pick our top 3 favorite suggestions and then have all of our backers vote on the results. So please make sure you submit your suggestions for the Ultimate Unicorns so that we can start filling them in ASAP :D

More backercorns will be coming soon, as will updates about all of the add ons and all of the other things.
